This exciting new addition to the Provincial Team season adds another opportunity for our athletes to gain experience.
Manitoba Lacrosse would love to offer a U13 girls Team Toba program.
Should there be interest, a team will be formed this spring that will train over the summer for participation in the Prairie Cup against teams from Saskatchewan and Alberta over the third weekend of July.
COACHING STAFF
Tess Zander takes the lead on the U13 Box - Girls team. She brings years of box lacrosse experience having grown up playing in Ontario, along with experience as an elite athlete with Balmoral Hall hockey.
Tess is also on the staff for the U15 and U17 Girls Box Lacrosse teams as well as the U17 girls at the 2025 Canada Games.

The staff includes a Team Canada Coach, a multi-time National Champion and Manitoba Lacrosse Hall of Famer, a former NCAA and Jr. A athlete, all with decades of Team Toba experience between them.
This staff will also coach the U17 Girls at the 2025 Canada Games.

Vail Shootout

All U17 and U19 Team Toba Field athletes will be eligible for selection to represent Manitoba at the 2024 Vail Lacrosse Shootout in Vail, Colorado.
The team will be comprised of the top U19 Men’s Field Lacrosse athletes, regardless of age.

Men’s Field Lacrosse Nationals are headed to Calgary, AB this summer for the U17 Alumni Cup.
This program looks to continue a run that took them to the Bronze medal game in 2023.

One of the longest-running and highly regarded lacrosse tournaments in the world, The Vail Shootout hosts some of North America’s top lacrosse programs, right in the middle of one of the most beautiful landscapes on the planet.
Manitoba makes its return to the Vail Shootout in 2024. The U19 Vail team will be made up of the top athletes in the Team Toba Boys Field Lacrosse Program. All U19 and U17 Team Toba Field athletes will be eligible for selection. The U19 Field - Girls Team Toba squad will represent Manitoba in the Girls’ division.
